Rosewood is the passion project of us, Billyjean and Pieter. It’s a place where creativity and collaboration thrive.
In 2021 we transformed the ground floor of our home—a former gallery—into a space where contemporary designers, artists, and makers can showcase their work. After a series of successful exhibitions, Rosewood has evolved into a permanent ‘collectibles store’: a concept shop where you can discover curated collections of interior objects, artworks and homeware.
After graduating as an interior and object designer, Billyjean quickly made waves in the underground scene with Ceci n.est pas une galerie, an immersive gallery concept that defied conventions. For years, she crafted surreal, imaginative installations where communal dinners collided with a variety of artistic experiences. These vibrant, offbeat spaces became a launchpad for many emerging artists and designers, giving them their first opportunity to showcase their work in an environment unlike any other.
Pieter is a graphic artist known for his striking custom typography and bold visuals. His work blends graphic design, hand lettering and painting, creating a signature style that moves fluidly between the commercial and artistic worlds. Beyond client projects, Pieter likes to dive into personal artistic ventures, which has lead to several exhibitions. Lately, his creativity has found a new home in Rosewood, where he pours his energy into exploring new mediums and collaborating on exciting projects.
